REGISTRATION.
To make provision for the Registration of certain Residents in the Colony.

The duty of making returns under this Ordinance Exemptions. shall not apply to any person who is a member of His Majesty's Navy, Army or Air Force or of any Volunteer or other Military Force or Police Force of the Colony, or to any person or class of persons specially exempted by the Governor in Council by notification in the Gazette.

4. (1) Every male British subject of pure European Returns descent between the ages of eighteen and fifty-five giving years, or between such ages within those limits as the particulars Governor in Council may by notification in the Gazette to be made direct, resident in the Colony on the 1st day of October, Authority. 1933, shall within three months thereafter, and every such person arriving in the Colony for the purpose of residing therein after the said date shall within three months after arrival, make a return signed by him to the Local Authority for the Settlement in which he is residing giving the following particulars :-
name; age; place and date of birth; place of residence; whether single or married; profession or occupation; mechanical and technical qualifi- cations (if any) and degree of competency therein; air, naval or military service (if any); and date of arrival in the Colony, if such arrival was subse- quent to the aforesaid date,
